October 31, 2012: Warehouse Hallowe'en Party

Welcome to Leena's Bed and Breakfast. It's a homey-looking place with a well-loved lived-in feel. Once you come in the front door, you're faced with a hallway. To the left is a large living room, with a sunroom off of the side, and a dining room off of the back. Straight ahead is a kitchen, with a private wing behind it and a bathroom. To the right is a stairway upstairs with a ribbon tied across the banister. Go under the ribbon to your own peril.

Joshua, Helena, and Claudia are milling around.

"And knowing that everybody's allowed to get it wrong sometimes."

He has, but he was only ten and he didn't think so at the time.

"Exactly." Joshua nods. "I'm... I don't know how old I am, but I'm still somewhat figuring that out."

[street_sparrow]

He raises his eyebrows.

"You don't know how old you are? I thought they were very keen on records in your time."

[damncompass]

"Well, that's the rub. I know how old I am chronologically, but I spent twelve years basically out of time in stasis, so I don't know if I should count that or not."

[street_sparrow]

"...huh." He gives this careful thought. "If you weren't aging, I'd say not. You'll still have those years to live now you've started living normally again."

[damncompass]

"I didn't age. I just... sat there." He shrugs. "It's just awkward, because one of the other guys here is technically four years older than me, but with the time jump, it's sixteen. The odder one is that Claudia was fourteen years younger. Now she's two years younger."

[street_sparrow]

He grimaces sympathetically.

"Yeah, my older sister is roughly the same age as me now, but that was Milliways. I'd still vote for counting yourself the same age, but that does make it stranger."

[damncompass]

"That's odd. I'll give you that." However, Milliways is slightly different than Joshua's interdimensional space. "How is your sister doing?"

[street_sparrow]

"She seems to actually be taking it all quite well." He grins ruefully. "One thing we always were, was resilient."
