OOM: Early July 2012: Joshua's Warehouse Lab

Joshua has not been doing science today. What has has been doing is making a pile of notes about things that he's observed in the Warehouse in the past couple weeks. He's come to the conclusion that there are a few holes in the way things are being run. However, instead of fighting Artie about it, he decides to take matters into his own hands.

Thus, he picks up his Farnsworth and buzzes his sister.

After she hangs up, she finishes the shelf of inventory she was on and heads over (not like the rest of it won't be there later).

Joshua's at his desk, his laptop actually on his lap for once, and typing away. It's not any of his science programs, just a simple word processor.

"And hello to you too, Claudia." He puts the laptop back on the table and spins around in his chair. Where did Joshua find a spinny chair? Probably Featherhead.

There is also another chair by a small round table next to his desk. He rolls his chair over. Clearly he's been doing some decorating.

"I have a couple things for you, actually." There are three separate piles of paper on his desk. He grabs one of them. "Have a chair!"

"I didn't want to pay out the ass to have people deliver furniture out here, so what I have is kinda crappy, but I felt the need to have something resembling an office." He shrugs. "Science, Regent crap, and just... other stuff." He shrugs. "Anyway, this is actually somewhat official."

"Alright. Thing the first." He pulls out a paper and pushes it over to her. "I want you to dig up everything on everyone we have. Where are they from? Where's their family? Where did they go to school, what did they study? Who were they close to? Just... literally everything you can dig up. Put them in files, and put them on flash drives. Don't keep this bit on the server."

"It's not as much Big Brother as knowledge." Joshua leans back in his chair. "People have tried to get to us in the past, and we haven't had the background to understand where they're coming from. If we need to defend ourselves, we need to know who we are, and how we can be attacked. The information is honestly need-to-know, and it's not for public consumption."
